What is Social and Emotional Learning and Well Being?  Social and Emotional Learning is an educational concept that teaches individuals skills about managing stress and emotions, recognizing emotions treating others with respect and empathy, working cooperatively with others. If an individual lacks these skills, it is very difficult for them to function successfully in society. Well-being deals with your overall wellness and quality of life.

Why Social and Emotional Learning? Several studies conducted in 2021 showed that over nearly 40% of Americans including 60% of young adults and 50% of young mothers suffer from serious loneliness and depression.  It has increased since the global pandemic.  Studies have also shown that social and emotional learning activities and programs have been found to reduce depression and loneliness by more than half.  It helps individuals to improve their quality of mental health.
